When possible I am following George’s concerts every where. I am a Greek from the European diaspora and II love the performer and the human been. I had the chance to be in business at Tel Aviv and didn’t miss this opportunity to hear also the exceptional voice of Farandouri. The performance of both artists was wonderful and the songs perfectly selected especially those from Maria. The public as usual demonstrate the respect and love they show to both artists. One thing surprise me however and make me sad for this beautiful public. The abrupt end of the concert. First George and Maria left without saying anything to the public, secondly the chief of the orchestra left without thanking his orchestra and finally the orchestra waiting for the come back of the artists in the scene -as it is the case most of the time- they decided to leave the scene alone. This is a great mistake and non respect especially towards a public who applause the Thursday performance standing up most of the time. The Mann Auditorium was

Unfortunately I will not have the chance (all tickets are sold out) to see if this will be corrected on the Saturday performance.
